Being Vulnerable in the Midst of Fear

When we are afraid, how do we engage in conversations with those we fear? How do we open ourselves up to the vulnerability of listening to differing points of view? Author Brené Brown asserts vulnerable conversations in the midst of our fear is the path to healing our society.

Being Vulnerable With Each Other

This morning, we will explore what it means to engage in relationship and stretching our comfort level in vulnerability. We will do this by engaging in deep questions and conversations with each other. Participation is always guided by your comfort level.

Inner Demons

Sometimes we can be our own biggest critic. We encourage those voices in our heads and they convince us of our lack of self worth. How do we find our own angels to help us and what do they look like?

After the Oobleck – Annual Forgiveness Ritual

Forgiveness can be a sticky topic, especially when we refuse to grant forgiveness to ourselves or others. Let us gather this morning to hear a story about how messy and sticky it can get. Then, we will have our annual forgiveness ritual to help us leave that stickiness behind.

A Community in Transition

Through story, we will visit a community in transition and learn how they remember to keep community as their touchstone.

Loving the Mud of Life

What happens when we are faced with a life transition? We will explore through story what happens when we want to resist and the outcomes that occur.

Radically Open & Accepting

As we explore the theme of hospitality this month, it is important to understand what it means to be radically open and accepting. Where do we draw the line in what we accept? Our journey of exploration will take us through fun and humorous places.

Renewing Our Connection: Annual Water Communion Service

Join us this Sunday for our Annual Water Communion Service. We will gather to renew our connections to each other as we start a new church program year. All are invited to bring water to signify your connection to the congregation and add to our collective water bowl.

Question Box Sermon

This Sunday, people will be invited to submit questions to the minister to answer during the service. The questions can range from topics about Unitarian Universalism, Theology, Beliefs, Practices, or whatever you have that you are burning to ask the minister.
