It has been a tradition for CUUF to hold a goods and services auction around the winter holidays. Congregants donate items, services, and experiences. People can bid on themed dinner parties, specialty classes, tours, and tickets. They can also bid on aid to others, artwork, and quality items suitable for gift-giving. The auction starts with a kick-off party, including a live auction and a raffle. The silent auction will continue for a few more weeks, culminating in a last-bid continental breakfast on a Sunday morning.

This year’s theme is “The BIG 4-0! Anniversary Auction Gala.” We are celebrating CUUF’s ruby anniversary! The opening Night Party is Saturday, November 1, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Begin bidding on silent auction items while enjoying delicious food and beverages, with a live auction starting at 7:00. Some items will only be available on Opening Night, including a raffle for your chance to win some fabulous prizes. You can also pick up homemade and handcrafted items for $10 or less to take home with you. The silent auction will continue until Sunday, November 16, and ends with a Last-Bid Continental Breakfast from 9 to 10 a.m., with bidding closing before the service at 10:15 a.m.
