Share the Plate

CUUF holds monthly Share the Plate worship services from September to July to help support our community.
What happens at a Share the Plate service?
We do not collect regular offerings for our fellowship during this service. Instead, we contribute all of our non-pledged offerings to a local non-profit or community organization.
These organizations are our elected Share the Plate Recipients. Their work aligns with our principles and priority social justice issues. They are nominated by CUUF’s Social Justice Team, and elected by the congregation at the annual congregational meeting every June.

Priority social justice issues for 2024 – 2025:
Climate & Environmental Justice, Food Security, BIPOC/Immigrant Rights, Indigenous Rights, Faith & Democracy, Housing Security, and Gender Identity/Justice.
