In the 10:30am Traditional Service, there is a time for people to light a candle or drop a stone into a basin of water to share a joy or sorrow. This can be spoken by you, recorded in a book to be read by the minister or worship leader, or silently held in your heart as you light a candle. This time is followed by a pastoral prayer. This time is sacred in worship to acknowledge life events which impact each of us in a deep way.
