Born in Mexico and raised in Kansas, Ms. Gallegos is a regional and state-wide leader in social justice issues for immigrants and children and is passionate about strengthening community and learning from and valuing the culture of immigrants – all within a framework of providing guidance and advocacy toward achieving United States citizenship.
