Worship Overview

We come together for fellowship, inspiration, and to challenge ourselves. Most Unitarian Universalists will say, “If you want to know what a typical UU service feels like, attend service at least six times.”
What to expect:
Our worship services typically begin at 10:30 AM on Sundays, unless otherwise noted on the CUUF Calendar, during some holidays. Services are held in our sanctuary and online via Zoom. Information about our upcoming services can be found on our Service page.
Worship is usually led by our minister, Rev. Thomas Perchlik, or a member of our Worship Team, and may include a variety of elements such as:
- Beautiful music.
- Storytime for the children.
- The time to share our joys and sorrows if needed.
- A sermon or program that engages our hearts and minds.
- Rituals like lighting and extinguishing our chalice.
- Congregational post-service coffee hour, featuring light snacks, tea, refreshments, and, of course, coffee.
- Good company!
